Long-time police juror

MORGANZA – Services for long-time Point Coupee police juror Adam Martin will be Thursday. He died Jan. 10 at age 90.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was on the police jury 28 years, the last 10 as its president.

He was a member of the Morganza Fire Department and owner of a service station and repair shop.

Survivors include three sons and three daughters.

Arrangements are by Niland.
