Following the tribute, attendees will march from the church at 908 Washington St. to La. 182 to MLK, then to Carr-Roberson American Legion Post located at 1404 Live Oak at the corner of Taft.

Refreshments and food will be served at the post.

The celebration will begin with a march from M.D. Shannon Elementary School on Brashear Avenue in Morgan City and proceed to Ephesian Baptist Church located at 527 Bowman St. in Morgan City.

At Ephesian, a tribute will be held to Martin Luther King Jr. Refreshments and games for children will follow the tribute.
