Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 1 p.m., at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Harris J. Louviere, 75, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in Houma.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Church of Assumption on Main St. in Franklin.
Born on February 24, 1936, he was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Upon returning home he graduated from Moler’s Barber College in New Orleans.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Dean Louviere of Franklin; Steven (Foot) Louviere and wife, Roxanne, of New Iberia; Jay Louviere of Austin, Texas; Donna Hawk and husband, Nathan, of Houma; and Tawanna Louviere of Hudson, Florida; brothers, Hardy Louviere and wife, Ann, of Homer, La.; Huey Louviere and wife, Dianne, of Charenton; and Gene Louviere and wife, Gayle, of Franklin; sisters, Theresa Kubelka and Brenda Louviere of Destrehan, La.; grandchildren, Adrianna Anderson of Charenton and Gavin Hawk of Houma; and great grandchildren, Hallie, Mallorie and Evan Daigle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia (Peetie) Swartwood Louviere; his parents, Didier and Odette Hebert Louviere; brothers, Raymond and Murphy Louviere.
