Edna Steel, 64, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, at 1 a.m.
Memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m., at Church of Christ Railroad Ave.
Edna leaves to cherish her memories her devoted companion, Leonard Menson of Morgan City; four sons, Corey Steel, Troy Smith, Kevin Steel and Lenny Steel, all of Morgan City; one daughter, Luvenia Steel of Morgan City; one brother, Richard Steel Jr. of Morgan City; three sisters, Olivia Steel, Callie Steel and Joyce Steel, all of Morgan City; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
