Francis Eaglin, 42, was charged with one count for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.
According to court documents, Eaglin admitted to conspiring with Eric Alexander, Bryan Malbreaux and others to possess with the intent to distribute 50 kilograms or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of marijuana, from January to June 2005.
Eaglin faces a term of imprisonment of not more than 20 years, a fine of $1 million, or both, and a term of supervised release of not less than three years. Sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
