Patterson Garden Club held its meeting Jan. 17 at the Patterson Area Civic Center.

President Sandra Marshall led the business meeting.

Business included information on the PGC Arbor Day Ceremony, sponsored with Hattie Watts Elementary, which will be held Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. at the school. A tree will be dedicated in honor of former PGC President Evelyn Estay.

Also discussed was the Louisiana Garden Club Federation State Convention to be held in Houma April 16-18. Club members plan to assist in convention preparation.

Raffle prizes include gift certificates to Marvin’s Gardens. Proceeds will be used for club activities and its scholarship fund. Contact any PGC for tickets.
