Construction on the Adullam Household of Faith in Patterson is ongoing with work on a duplex to house staff, top photo. The Rev. Marty Harden of Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship said the home, which will house the children of incarcerated parents, is named for an Old Testament place of refuge for outcasts that King David utilized before he came into power. Below, a warehouse, left, and office flank the duplex. Harden said he anticipates construction of the first dorm will begin in February. Upon its completion, the home will begin to take in children. The estimated $500,000 project is being financed by the church along with donations from around the country. While currently under budget, Harden said dorm construction is likely to push the project over cost predictions. Any person or company wishing to donate time, money or services toward the construction may call the church at 395-2333.
