Renovation work has begun at the Guarisco-Evans Shopping Center located on Seventh Street in Morgan City. Owner Sid Moffett of Moffett Rentals LLC in Morgan City said he plans to keep the stores as close to their original designs as possible. Plans are to stucco the outside and replace the awnings, glass on the store fronts and the roof.
