Eunice Police responded to a call at 12:36 p.m. from a woman who said her son had been cut with a knife by his girlfriend.
Upon arrival, police reportedly located the victim, Chance Ceasar, who was suffering from a knife wound to his left shoulder area.
Police said Ceasar told them his girlfriend Laquinta Vallier was angry because he took too long doing yard work at another residence.
Ceasar refused to provide a written statement for the incident and also refused medical treatment for his wound.
The knife used in the alleged incident was recovered at the scene, and Vallier was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.
She appeared for line up in Opelousas Monday morning and her bond was set at $7,500.
