Joshua Pellissier, 26, and Samantha Landreneau, 18, both of 183 Aucoin St., Amelia, were arrested Wednesday at 1:14 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax, possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. Pellissier was also charged with obstruction of justice and transactions involving drug proceeds, and Landreneau with disturbing the peace.
Agents reportedly seized about $4,200 in drugs and $392 in cash.
Pellissier was held on a $25,000 bond. No bond was set on Landreneau.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrests of Matthew P. Verret, 20, of New Iberia, Patrick Richardson, 17, of Lafayette, and Hunter N. Kock, 18, of New Iberia, Wednesday at 9:08 a.m. on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal trespassing. Verrett was also charged with disturbing the peace and Koch with two counts of resisting an officer. No bonds were set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Deante Henry, 24, of Anderson Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. on a warrant charging him with resisting an officer by flight. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
Courtney Gauthier, 25, of Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:08 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was released on a $250 bond.
