Thousands of high school football players signed National Letters of Intent today to play college football next season.

Locally, Patterson High School had a record six Division I signees, while Central Catholic also celebrated a signing Wednesday.

The signees at PHS are Lorenzo Phillips (LSU), Trevon Stewart (Houston), Jaydrick DeClouet (Louisiana Tech), Tremaine Lightfoot (ULL), Justice Jones (Texas Southern) and Kiyan Jones (Arkansas Monticello).

CCHS standout Lloyd Grogan also committed to Louisiana Tech.
