BALDWIN — Glenn Marsh, Jerald Hawkins and DeAndre Gabriel all scored in double digits as the West St. Mary Wolfpack defeated the Jeanerette Tigers by a score of 65-57 in District 6-2A Tuesday at the WSMHS Gym.

West St. Mary upped its league record to a spotless 7-0 mark with the victory over Jeanerette.

Marsh led the Wolfpack in scoring with 21 points on eight field goals and a flawless 5 for 5 from the line. Hawkins tossed in 14 points, including six floor baskets and 2 of 3 freebies. Gabriel fired in 10 points, draining four field goals and 2 of 6 free throws.

Rounding out the scoring for the Wolfpack were: Robert Martin, 9; Larry Robertson, 5; Jontrey Tillman, 4 and Christopher Jones, 2.

Paul Richard led Jeanerette with a game-high 25 points.

West St. Mary will make the short trip play Catholic High of New Iberia on Friday in league play.
