Liam McCloy and Olivia Kraemer, image one, were presented as Krewe of Nike King and Queen XLI during its tableau Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The children’s krewe theme was “Lights, Camera, Action.” Members of the krewe will participate in the Krewe of Dionysus parade on Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. in Berwick. McCloy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry McCloy of Bayou Vista. Kraemer is the daughter of Carl Kraemer and Judy Angeron Kraemer, both of Morgan City. St. Mary AARP held its annual Mardi Gras Court and Ball Saturday with Myron Joseph Dupre’ and Stephanie Blanco Dupre’ presented as St. Mary AARP King and Queen XXIV. The theme of the event was “Heroes of the Wild West.” AARP does not plan to participate in a Mardi Gras parade.
