BATON ROUGE – LSU professor emeritus Dr. Arthur Riopelle died Feb. 11 at age 91.
He was a former Boyd professor, LSU’s highest teaching honor, of psychology. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three children.
Four-term sheriff
WINNFIELD – Services will be Friday for four-term sheriff James “Budd” Jordan. He died Feb. 21 at age 69.
He was sheriff from 1992 to 2008 and was chief deputy under Dan Page from 1976 to 1988.
Survivors include his wife Martha and two sons.
Arrangements are by Southern.
