Junior was born on April 18, 1948, in Morgan City, the son of Paul W. Bergeron Sr. and Genevieve Myers Bergeron.
Paul’s favorite things in life were the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and Patterson football. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He didn’t do anything or go anywhere without his nephew Brian. Where you saw one, you saw the other. He lived life always joking and laughing and making others laugh. He would bring someone up if they were down, as he was always known for his jokes and stories from the past. If anyone needed him, he was there. He was an “important man” to the all-time favorite Bayou Country Band. He loved country and swamp pop music.
