REGIONAL ROUND: The Centerville Bulldogs will advance to the regional round of the State Class B playoffs tonight by hosting Bell City at the CHS Gym. Leading hitters for the Lady Bulldogs were: Summar White, 2 for 4, 2 singles; Lacy LaGrange, 1 for 2, single; Brooke Boudreaux, 1 for 3, single; Carrie Hebert, 1 for 3, single; Victoria Theriot, 1 for 3, single; Taylor Saucier, 1 for 2, single; Ashton Landry, 1 for 4, double and Reagan Romero, 1 for 3, double.
Pitchers Carrie Hebert and Lacy LaGrange combined for the mound victory.
Hebert worked the first five innings, giving up five hits while fanning seven and walking seven.
LaGrange tossed the final two frames, walking 3, striking out one and giving up 1 hit.
Centerville (2-0) will travel to Jeanerette to play in the Jeanerette Tournament today at 4 p.m.
