Pierre Part Elementary School students enjoyed some play time at Lake End Park on their way back from a field trip to see the Nina and the Pinta in Houma. The two ships are replicas of the ships that sailed with Christopher Columbus on his first trip to North America. Several local schools have organized field trips to see the ships.
