WARMING UP AT SECOND: Franklin’s Karson Grogan hauls in this warmup toss at second base from catcher Bria Stewart during Tuesday at the FSHS Softball Field. On Wednesday, Grogan took the mound loss versus the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack at the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack Field in Baldwin.
Cormier worked five innings, allowing four runs on eight hits with eight strikeouts and two walks.
Franklin pitcher Karson Grogan took the mound loss after going five innings, giving up 14 runs on five strikeouts.

West St. Mary (4-1) will return to action next Thursday in District 6-2A action against Delcambre.
Franklin (1-6) will travel to play Centerville today at 4 p.m.
