On the ballot are nominees for the Democratic and Republican candidate for President of the United States and member of the Republican State Central Committee, 50th Representative District, Subdistrict B.
Registrar of Voters Jolene Holcombe said early voting will run through March 17.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the registrar’s office on the third floor of the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin and the branch office at 301 Third St. in Morgan City.
Voters may cast ballots early in either office regardless of where they live.
The primary is open only to voters registered in the party of the candidate, Democratic or Republican. Independent voters and those registered “no party” have no candidates on the ballot, Holcombe said.
