Uze earned the mound victory, not allowing a run nor a hit with six strikeouts and no walks over three frames. Kellebrew notched the save, hurling two frames, not surrendering a run while allowing just one hit with three strikeouts and no walks.
Hanson’s top hitters were: Haden Judice, 3 for 4, 5 RBI; Zach Uze, 1 for 1, triple and Matt Landry, 2 for 2, 2 runs.
Brandon McFarlane collected the hit for the FSHS Hornets.
Hanson struck for all of its runs over the first four frames with six in the first, five in the second with three in the third and two more in the fourth.
Franklin scored its run in the bottom half of the first inning when McFarlane reached on an error before later scoring on a passed ball.
Hanson (6-3) will travel to play three games in the Riverside Tournament beginning Friday at 3:30 against Lutcher with a game also scheduled for Saturday at 3:15 versus West Feliciana and Sunday at 3:30 versus Family Christian of Baton Rouge.
