Lillie Matthews Dunbar, 79, a resident of Franklin and a native of New Orleans, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 5 a.m., at her son’s residence in New Iberia.
Lillie Matthews Dunbar was an educator for the St. Mary Parish School Board.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 12 p.m. until funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
Lillie leaves to cherish her memories one son, Kirk Dunbar of New Iberia; one sister, Esma Glover of New Iberia; four grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
