Knights of Columbus Council 1420 is accepting donations of canned goods during the Lenten season. Families have been donating one canned good for each day of the week at the Church of the Assumption. The goods are then donated to St. Mary Emergency Aid, a United Way of South Louisiana agency, and distributed to needy families.
