LAFAYETTE — The Centerville Lady Bulldogs moved to a perfect 3-0 in District 8-B action here Tuesday at Pelican Park with a 20-5 victory over Lafayette Christian in five innings.

Centerville (13-1, 3-0) earned its third straight District 8-B victory with the win over Lafayette Christian.

Centerville (13-1, 3-0) will play host to Christian Life of Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 17 at noon.

The Centerville Lady Bulldogs strung together a 3-0 record during last week’s Central Catholic Tourament held in Amelia after posting victories over West St. Mary, Assembly Christian and South Plaquemines.

CENTERVILLE 21, WEST ST. MARY 3

On Friday, the Centerville Lady Bulldogs opened their three-game sweep with a 21-3 win over the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack.

In Saturday’s opener, the Centerville Lady Bulldogs blanked Assembly Christian by a final score of 10-0 in six innings.
