All candidates must be a resident of St. Mary Parish as well as attending school or college. Candidates shall never have been married, pregnant or have given birth to a child. Candidates should be active in their school and community. All candidates must be at least 17 years of age and not more than 23 years of age by April 15, 2012.
Candidates must have all forms (form can be downloaded from the Bayou Teche Bear Festival website at http://www.bayoutechebearfest.org/Queens_pageant.html), picture (no larger than 5X7) and the $75 entry fee turned in no later than Friday, March 29. Make all checks payable to Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival.
