CENTERVILLE _ The Centerville Bulldogs won their second game in as many outings with a 10-5 victory over the Episcopal School of Acadiana Falcons Tuesday at the Centerville High School Baseball Diamond.

Centerville (2-5) struck for all of its runs over the final three innings. The Bulldogs collected four runs in the fourth frame, two in the fifth and four insurance runs in the sixth inning on the way to the 10-5 victory.

Centerville’s starting pitcher Dylan Burgess teamed up with closer Cameron Pogue to earn the mound victory. Burgess pitched five innings, giving up four runs (one earned) on two hits with five strikeouts and three walks. Pogue hurled two complete frames, surrendering one run on one hit with one strikeout and one free pass.

Top hitters for Centerville were: Tyler Theriot, 4 for 5, 2 RBI; Chance Landry, 3 for 3, 2 RBI; Zacchaeus Jackson, 1 for 3, 2 RBI; Christian Arias, 1 for 5, RBI; Peyton Landry, 1 for 4, RBI; Dylan Burgess, 2 for 3 and Evan Perkins, 1 for 3.

Centerville (2-5) will play host to Ascension Episcopal of Lafayette on Thursday at 4 p.m.
