Mr. Terry Lee Francis Sr., 65, a resident of Patterson and native of Oakland, California, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 11:55 p.m., at Iberia Extended Care Hospital following a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Doreen M. Francis of Patterson; mother, Elmira Harrison Streeter of Los Angeles, California; five sons, Frederick and Jovan Mosely of Patterson, Kenneth Francis and Terry Lee Francis Jr. of Arlington, Texas and Rev. Larry Mosely of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Latisha D. Francis of Patterson; one brother, Michael Taylor of Inglewood, California; two sisters, Grace LeDuff of Inglewood, California and Kay Thompson of Goodyear, Arizona; and 25 grandchildren.
Mr. Francis was preceded in death by his father.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with Pastor Patrick T. Jones Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
