Madison Breann Shelton, 16, was driving a pickup west on a parish road near Olla Monday when the vehicle went out of control, left the roadway and began overturning.
Troopers said Shelton was not wearing her seat belt and was partially ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation
