The new rates will include higher prices for almost all customers, and lower the threshold of use for the minimum rate.
The hearing will be conducted at the beginning of the meeting at 7 p.m.
Also on the agenda for the meeting are a resolution on the city’s proposed new water plant, a resolution on property adjudicated to the city, an intergovernmental agreement on purchasing a bus from Morgan City High School and recognition of city poster contest winners from Hattie Watts Elementary School.
The meeting will be at City Hall on Main Street.
