The bills have moved at extraordinary pace through the three-week session so far.
The measures create a statewide voucher program that uses tax dollars to pay for private school tuition, expand charter schools and revamp teacher pay and job protections.
The voucher bill received approval in the Senate Finance Committee with a 9-2 vote Monday, setting up an expected Senate floor debate for Wednesday.
If the Senate backs both the voucher and tenure bills without changes, that would give them final passage. The House already has voted for them
