Dorothy taught in the St. Mary Parish School System for 32 years as an elementary teacher.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Delta.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 7 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Jeanerette, from 9 a.m., performance by Delta, at 10 a.m., until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Henry Johnson of Berwick; a daughter, Claudia Johnson; her two grandchildren she reared, Monique Johnson and Terrance Johnson, all of Morgan City; and a host of relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Wesley Sr. and Lillie Paul Wesley.
