Joseph X. Jones, 90, a resident of Four Corners and a native of New Orleans, died at his residence Tuesday, April 3, 2012.
Visitation will be Friday, April 13 at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Four Corners, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., 12 p.m. rosary until 12:30 p.m., tributes at 12:30 p.m. until funeral mass at service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the St. Dorother’s Cemetery.
Joseph worked for the United States Post Office. He was a veteran of World War II.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories four sons, Joseph Joel (Betty) Jones Jr. of Corona, California, Jeffery Raymond (Elaine) Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, Darrel Gerard Jones of Los Angeles, California and Baxler Anthony Jones of Portland, Oregon; five daughters, Mrs. John (Linda) Lockett and Mrs. Charles (Janice) Morgan, both of Jeanerette, Mrs. Kevin (Deidrea) Hazure of New Orleans, Mrs. Robert (Charmaine) London of Victorville, California and Judy Elizabeth Jones of Portland, Oregon; 27 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
