Mrs. Dorothy Mae Williams, 96, a resident of Franklin and native of Berwick, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at 9:20 a.m., at Franklin Health Care Center following a short illness.
She is survived by one son, Ivory Williams of Beaumont, Texas; a devoted godchild, Rodney Jones; and a devoted friend, Vera L. Crockett, both of Franklin.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Preston Watson officiating.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
