THE FRANKLIN LINE DANCERS performed Saturday night at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Franklin Senior High School. The dancers have several members who have battled the fight against cancer, and they enjoyed dancing to help promote cancer awareness. The dancers will be dancing to the music of Johnny Chauvin and the Mojo Band at the Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival on Saturday, April 21 at 8:30 p.m. The dancers are a non-profit organization and members of the St. Mary Parish Council on Aging. They dance regularly at the Franklin Senior Center on Iberia Street. For further information, please call the Senior Center at 828-1210.
