THE SECOND ANNUAL open car show benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project will be held Saturday in Morgan City at Lirette Ford. It will be preceded by a parade of the old cars Friday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday’s event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the car dealership and is free to the public. The events benefit the construction of a future memorial to veterans to be located in Morgan City.

The second annual open car show benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project will be held Saturday in Morgan City.

Lirette Ford and the Southeast Louisiana Bayou Mustang Club host the events which will benefit the construction of a future memorial to veterans to be located in Morgan City.

The show will kick off with a parade of cars Friday at 6:30 p.m.

The route begins at Lirette Ford, turns right on La. 182 to Myrtle Street, left onto Myrtle to Victor II Boulevard where it proceeds left to Marguerite. At Marguerite (La. 70) the route goes through Lake End Park, takes a left on Fig Street, left on Sixth Street, left on Marguerite, right on Victor II and ends in the Tampico’s parking lot.

The car show will be held at Lirette Ford Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All events are free to the public.
