St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Leanna M. Steele, 33, of 1029 Shaw Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 3:21 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. She was released on a summons.

Joie Adams, 31, of 300 Main St., No. 4, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 8:34 p.m. on charges of DWI, careless operation, introduction of contraband into a jail, possession of oxycodone, possession of clonazepam, possession of soma and possession of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a juvenile. No bond was set.

Darius Henry, 20, of 305 Ninth St., Franklin, and Joshua Brown, 23, of 1901 Pine St., No. 5, were arrested Thursday at 9:09 p.m. on a charge of off road vehicle on roadway. They were released on summonses.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Danny P. Freia Jr., 25, of 410 Catherine St., No. 2, Patterson, Thursday at 5:47 p.m. on charges of possession of oxycodone and a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of improper lane use. No bond was set.

Misty A. Rhodes, 31, of 140 Mill Road, No. 28, of Patterson, and Travis L. Johnson, 36, of 714½ Utah St., Berwick, were arrested Thursday at 6:33 p.m. both on charges of possession of Lortab with intent to distribute. Johnson was also charged with distribution of oxycodone, possession of codeine, improper lane use, battery on a police officer and four counts of resisting an officer. No bonds were set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Russell Don Allen, 42, of Clark Street, Bayou Vista, Thursday at 8 a.m. on a warrant charging him with domestic battery. No bond was set.

Barry Darby, 53, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 12:12 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft of goods under $300. He was held on $1,000 bond.

Thaiim J. Guilbeau, 18, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 4:20 p.m. on warrants charging him with simple battery requiring medical attention and criminal trespassing. He was released on $1,000 bond.

Two juveniles were arrested Thursday at 6:39 p.m. after a complaint from Franklin Junior High School. A 15-year-old female and a 14-year-old female were both charged with disturbing the peace by fighting and released to guardians pending juvenile court.

A disturbance on Ninth Street Sunday resulted in several arrests on warrants Thursday.

Kaylah J. Benjamin, 17, of Third Street, Franklin, was charged with obstructing a public passage and disturbing the peace by fighting. She was released to appear in court.

Also charged yesterday were a 16-year-old female with disturbing the peace by fighting.

A 14-year-old male, a 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old female were all charged with obstructing a public passage and disturbing the peace by fighting. All were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
