Members of the St. Mary Parish Council will consider adoption of an ordinance setting the salary of the new clerk of the council when they meet in regular session Wednesday.

The proposed ordinance, introduced during the council’s April 11 meeting, sets the salary of Lisa Morgan who has been hired to replace the retiring Kim Pusateri, at $21.43 per hour during her 90-day probationary period. After that, the hourly wage is $22.50.

Pusateri’s retirement date is July 6 and Morgan’s hire date is July 7. Morgan most recently served as an administrative assistant with the City of Morgan City.

A public hearing on the proposed ordinance will be called at 5:45 p.m.

Other items on Wednesday’s agenda include several resolutions that authorize:

—Participation in the Quality Jobs Program by Omni Energy Services Corp on its expansion project.

—New signatory cards for the Sales and Use Tax Department.

—Execution of a professional services agreement with Kendig Keast Collaborative.

—An intergovernmental agreement with Sheriff Mark Hebert.

—A health services agreement with Correcthealth Saint Mary LLC.

—A certificate of substantial completion on Phase 2 of the taxiway lights and signage rehab project at Harry P. Williams Memorial Airport.

—Execution of a contract with the state Division of Administration for Local Government Assistance Program funds on the purchase of a hydraulic backhoe by Consolidated Gravity Drainage District 1.

The regular meeting begins at 6 p.m. on the fifth floor of the courthouse in Franklin.
