The City of Franklin Main Street Program will host the Third Annual Promenade d’art de Franklin (Franklin Art Walk) on Franklin’s historic Main Street on Aug. 18 from 6-9 p.m.

Interested persons can request an entry brochure by sending an e-mail to Arlana Shields at ashields@franklin-la.com. Entries must be received by July 13.

Artists will be able to compete with their original works of art in the following mediums: drawing, basketry, painting, pottery, recycled art, handmade accessories, mixed media, photography, sculpture and fiber arts.

The event is open to local and regional visual artists. Art venues are hosted by merchants and span the sidewalks of Main Street. Attendees and artists are asked to wear white linen or white cotton to the Promenade d’art de Franklin.
