Mayor Raymond Harris was presented two posters celebrating local events at Tuesday’s meeting of the Franklin City Council. At left, Judith Allain presents the mayor with the official poster of April’s Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival, and thanked the city for the assistance provided by various departments before and during the festival. At right, Carl Butler presented Harris with a poster for the first Patterson Community Fair and Festival set for June 21-24 at the Patterson Junior High School on the old football field. More information on that festival will be coming in the near future.
