According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects overnight.

—Dwayne Rodriguez, 40, of Victoria-Riverside Road, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 7:44 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery. Deputies were called to his home in reference to an argument and learned that he had committed a battery on his wife resulting in said charges. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration. No bond has been set.

—Ruben Garza Sr., 51, of Aycock Street, Morgan City, arrested Tuesday at 1:53 p.m. in Amelia on two warrants, one for failure to comply with probation on charge of possession of stolen things and a warrant from Houma Police Department on a charge of failure to appear for fraud. Incarcerated with $1,800 bond.

According to Chief Patrick LaSalle, the Patterson Police Department made four arrests overnight.

—Corey Wilkinson, 22, of Sherburne Street, Plaquemine, arrested at 5:06 a.m. today on U.S. 90 East, charged with speeding 25 miles per hour over limit and careless operation. Released on bond.

Three were arrested at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday after a fight at their own residence on Gabriel Street in Patterson, and all remain incarcerated.

—Diosdado Perez, 36, disturbing the peace by fighting, $361 fine.

—Jose White, 34, disturbing the peace by fighting, $361 fine.

—Alexander Castro, 35, resisting an officer, $242.50 fine.
