Police say Keenan Charles, 17, and Andrew Mouton, 18, got into an argument before Charles pulled a gun and chased Mouton back to his house in the 1200 block of West South Street, firing several rounds from a semi-automatic handgun before Mouton could get into his house.
Charles allegedly left the scene and returned a little while later to continue shooting. By then, police said, Mouton had armed himself with and returned fire. Neither man was shot during the battle. Two cars in the area did suffer damage.
Charles is charged with attempted second-degree murder. Mouton is charged with possession of a stolen firearm and illegal use of a weapon.
