Sheriff Mark Hebert reports that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests overnight.

—Dwain Bercegeay, 54, of Little Flower Lane, Bayou Vista, arrested Wednesday at 9:57 a.m. on a warrant for violation of a protective order. Incarcerated in parish jail with $500 bond and later released.

—Emily T. Borel, 18, of First Street, Patterson, arrested Wednesday at 2:14 p.m. on a warrant for two counts of criminal damage to property. She entered the Morgan City sheriff’s office for an investigation and was placed under arrest. She has already been arrested and released by both the Morgan City Police Department and the Berwick Police Department for damaging property with graffiti. Booked into the parish jail with a $2,500 bond and later released.

—Kristie J. Bertrand, 25, of Canal Street, Bayou Vista, arrested Wednesday at 10:51 p.m. for simple criminal damage to property. She is alleged to have broken a window on the door at the Plantation Inn after a disagreement with a clerk who told Bertrand and several others to leave the pool area. The arrest was made at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City where Bertrand was receiving treatment for her injuries. Issued summons to appear in court on Aug. 17.

—Kilo N. White, 22, of Tall Timbers Lane, Patterson, arrested in Morgan City on Wednesday at 11:23 p.m. for failure to appear on the charge of distribution of marijuana. Booked into the parish jail with a $10,000 bond.

—Ronald Gage, 56, of La. 182, Morgan City, arrested Wednesday at 6:12 p.m. for possession of Lortab, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug-free zone (Brownell Homes). Booked into the parish jail with no bond yet set.

The Berwick Police Department reported one arrest, according to Chief James Richard.

—Alonda Walker, 35, of Fourth Street, Berwick, arrested Wednesday at 8:54 a.m. for driving under suspension and no seat belt. Released on $1,250 bond.
