Cyberbullying and other arrests made

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the followings arrests overnight, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Traci Glynn, 17, of Railroad Avenue, Patterson, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. Thursday for cyberbullying. The arrest results from an investigation into the posting of a nude picture of a 15-year-old female juvenile victim online. Booked into the parish jail with a $2,500 bond and later released.

—Laura Mott, 43, of Highway 182, Centerville, was arrested at her residence at 2:26 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for contract fraud. Booked into the parish jail with a $5,000 bond and later released.

—Amanda D. Eues, 27, of General Patton Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:37 p.m. Thursday in the Amelia area on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Booked into the parish jail with a $2,500 bond and later released.

—Lacey Fabre, 20, of Legnon Court, Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. Thursday in the Bayou Vista area on warrants for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. Booked into parish jail with no bond set.

—Two female juveniles, both 16, were arrested for simple battery at 11:02 p.m. Thursday on Lambert Street in Bayou Vista, during the investigation of a complaint of a runaway juvenile. Both juveniles were arrested, processed and released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
