From Staff Reports

All four local Swampland League games were rained out Thursday.

The games that weren’t played featured Skipper’s Sporting Goods (Morgan City) traveling to face Patterson, Halimar Shipyard (Central Catholic) hosting South Louisiana Bank (South Terrebonne), and Taco Bell (Berwick) traveling to Synergy Bank (E.D. White).

No makeup dates for the games had been announced as of this morning.

Swampland play will resume Monday with Taco Bell hosting Robichaux Ford (Vandebilt Catholic), while Patterson will host Bayou Boys (South Lafourche) and Central Catholic will host XLR8 Sports (Ellender). All games will feature junior varsity action at 5 p.m. followed by varsity games at 7 p.m.

Skipper’s scheduled home game against HLB has been pushed back until June 22 because HLB will be having an athletic fundraiser Monday.
