Funeral services for Kole Martin Doise, 34, will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012. Rev. Johnny Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Visitation will be held on today, Wednesday, June 13, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

Kole Doise was residing in New Iberia but was formerly from Elton. He enjoyed the outdoors very much. He liked to rodeo, ride bulls and bareback riding. He was a certified pipeline welder and was one of the best at his work. He was self-employed and was a friend to all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Laura and Marty Doise; special friend, Lisa Parker of Bayou Vista; his son, Austin Doise of Bayou Vista; two brothers, Micah Doise and Montana Doise, both of New Iberia; and two sisters, Aarika Plachta of Rockford, Ill., and Tammy Rice of Bayou Vista.

Kole is preceded in death by his mom, Beverly Ann Downs.
