JENNINGS – Three teenagers have been ordered to pay $16,000 each in restitution for damaging dozens of gravesites in three area cemeteries.

Sebastian Abshire, 19; Dacota Miguez, 17; and Joselyn Mire, 19 pleaded guilty to the Feb. 12 desecration of more than two dozen graves and headstones.

Additionally, the trio must write letters of apology to families involved and were ordered to clean and maintain local cemeteries.

They were placed on three year's probation for the felony vandalism charge and ordered to serve 90 days in jail, with credit for time served. They were also fined $500 and court costs.
