Edward J. LaMark Jr., 69, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, passed away Tuesday at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma at 8:40 a.m.

Visitation will be Saturday, 10-10:45 a.m. at The CWA Hall, 106 Westside Blvd., Houma, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Helen Green LaMark; three sons, Dorton Victor of Houma, and Edward LaMark III and Jewel LaMark, both of Thibodaux; two daughters, Michelle Kenny of Houma and Regina LaMark of Baytown, Texas; a brother, Calvin LaMark of Houston; a stepsister, Hazel H. Anderson of Houma; three stepbrothers, Wilbert Lee Sr. and August Haughton Sr., both of Houma, and Claiborne Haughton of Arlington, Va.; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
