Touting his desire to improve upon our city’s future, Frank “Boo” Grizzaffi wishes to announce immediately his decision to seek the office of mayor of Morgan City in the 2012 fall primary election on Nov. 6.

Grizzaffi, 46, is a native of Morgan City and is the owner of Grizzaffi Appliance & Furniture, a company started by his grandfather, who first arrived in Morgan City in the late 1800s.

“I am confident that I can adapt the exceptional leadership qualities Mayor Matte has demonstrated over the years, while incorporating my own strength as a business leader.

“I am married to the former Jodi Hebert. Together, we have two young girls, Kennedy and Addison. I am the son of Frank Jr. and Janice Prestenbach Grizzaffi.

“I have made preparations for my business. Therefore, when I become mayor the city’s business will be my full-time commitment. And, as your next mayor, my top priority will be focused on the operations of this city so that our employees will look forward to providing the best customer service possible.

“I feel my involvement in the community and my passion for a better tomorrow makes me not only the clear choice, but the right choice to lead Morgan City as your next mayor.”
