“Our Bridge Market is set up for vendors who do not have an established business. It consists of homegrown and homemade items,” Beth Price of Morgan City Main Street said.
“The vendors that had food products (vegetables, fruits, baked goods, frozen shrimp) sold out within the first two hours,” Price said of last month’s market.
“We are hoping that it will expand with time and that we will get more fresh produce and fresh seafood vendors.”
Anyone interested in being a vendor can visit City Hall to get a copy of the rules and regulations. The market is completely free to vendors.
