Mr. Theophile and Mrs. Helen Guillotte of Franklin wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kim Elizabeth Guillotte to Daniel Anthony Guillot.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Madio (Marie) Guillotte of Jeanerette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Emery (Verna) Hebert of Franklin. She is a graduate of Franklin Senior High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in dietetics from Nicholls State University and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed with Franklin Foundation Hospital.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. Fred and Mrs. Thelma Guillot of Hessmer, Louisiana. He is the grandson of Mr. Odell Desselle and the late Mrs. Annie Desselle of Mansura and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman (Susie) Guillot of Bunkie. He is a graduate of Bunkie High School. He received a degree in medical technology from Louisiana Technical College in Lafayette and is currently employed with Iberia Medical Center.

The couple will be united in the sacred covenant of marriage on Saturday, September 15 at 6 p.m. at the Crossing Place Fellowship in Franklin.
