St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Daniel Harper, 38, of 319 Leo Drive, Patterson, was arrested Monday at 6:15 p.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released on a summons.

Carmen A. Verdun, 29, of 1811 K St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 2:26 p.m. on charges of theft of goods and warrants charging her with failure to appear. She was released on $398 bond.

Hector R. Santos, 31, of 300 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 5:45 p.m. on a charge of remaining where forbidden. He was released on a summons.

Ernest P. Stratton Jr., 50, of 3432 Third St., Berwick, was arrested Monday at 7:53 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for drug court. He was held on $100,000 bond.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s narcotics division reported the arrest of Jonette Guidry Lange, 33, of 3247 First St., Berwick, Monday at 3:49 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua S. Guidry, 37, of 3246 First St., Berwick, was also arrested Monday at 3:49 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule III narcotics.

Agents reportedly investigated complaints regarding alleged illegal drug activity at the house. They received consent to search the residence and subsequently made the arrests after reportedly locating narcotics and paraphernalia. Lange was released on a summons, and Guidry was held with no bond set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Samantha Renee Jones, 28, of Weber Street, Franklin, Monday at 1:16 p.m. on warrants charging her with theft of goods under $100, criminal trespassing and failure to appear for trial on a charge of theft under $500. No bond was set.

Ray Andrew Picard Jr., 44, of Hamm Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 6 p.m. on charges of shoplifting and resisting an officer by giving false information. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Baldwin Police Chief Gerald Minor reported the arrest of Terry Allen Caudill Jr., 27, of La. 87, Jeanerette, July 7 on charges of no driver’s license, reckless operation, no proof of insurance, expired registration and expired license plate. He was released on a summons.

Catherine Saucier, 62, of Flat Town Road, Baldwin, was arrested July 12 on a charge of shoplifting. She was released on her own recognizance.

Pamela Smith, 40, of Big Four Corners Road, Four Corners, was arrested Saturday on warrants charging her with theft and simple criminal damage to property. She was released on a summons.
